"Spirit Fingers" was my beautiful mistake. It's rather lovely in person, and it would be here too if not for the God-forsaken scanner being a POS. *sighs and shakes head*
I love this picture. I had been out taking night pictures with Mike. He had invited Erica and Kevin along, and we met up with Dennis after his shift was over at Weis. The hand in the picture is Kevin's hand. We were walking past the Damascus Community Bank and Mike had the brilliant idea to have Kevin do that. Mike took a number of pictures of this at different angles and I took only this one. Mike also gave me the idea for the name, "Spirit Fingers." What's even cooler about this picture is that it was put in the art show last spring and it got second out of all the upper-level Photo. classes (I was only in Photo. II). 'Tis the only award/prize that I've ever won. So it makes me feel special. |

Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization. Open to all mediums. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
